Product Description

Introduction of Cast Iron Rail Shoulder

Plain Surface Cast Iron 5.6 Grade Rail Shoulders are cast directly into concrete ties to provide secure fixation for Elastic Rail Clips. These components are manufactured from high-quality pearlitic malleable iron (M.C.I. Inserts) and spheroid graphite iron (S.G.C.I. Inserts).

We provide two primary configurations:

  • Single Stem Iron Shoulders: Primarily utilized in pre-stressed concrete ties.
  • Twin Stem Iron Shoulders: Commonly designed for Bi-Block or Twin Block concrete ties.

These shoulder accessories are engineered for specific rail sections to ensure precise elastic clip toe loading. Certain models feature milled weld area faces to enhance weld integrity during installation.
